If you typed gifts bbq, chances are you are looking to get something for someone special who just happens to be a rabid bbq or grilling fan or maybe it’s just for your father-in-law who is really difficult to buy for as he normally has everything he wants.This is the page for you and is one of my favorite pages to create! IT’s my chance to pore over hundreds and hundreds of bbq gifts and evaluate them and hopefully recommend them. Why should you take my recommendations on gifts bbq?

Simple. I either own the item or am very well acquainted with it. I evaluate all of the gifts based on value, design and function. And, I do this from the eye of a lifelong cook and former restaurant owner.

I’ll give you an example: there is no way I’d recommend one of those cutesy terra cotta garlic roasters that came out years back. I mean really? What do you need this for when you can roast a head of garlic very well on a half sheet pan and an oven.

As an aside, I prefer to shop for things like these online. Why? Well first and foremost, I live in a small town and we have access to much fewer items and models than in big cities (also, when I lived in big cities I detested driving across town in traffic. ) Second, online purchasing is extremely safe these days. And finally if you don’t believe my recommendations, most sites recommended here have their own user ratings, and excellent return policies in case things aren’t right.

Amazon.com is my other favorite because, well, they have most everything.Their shipping is incredibly fast, and once you are signed up, the checkout is a breeze.

La Cense BeefBeef online? Yes. Great grassfed beef from Montana featured in Saveur Magazine. This can get pricey so make sure this person is worth it. But wow what a cool gift. If you want to be really cool, click on the La Cense link above, and search for "hanger steak." This unusual steak- onglet in France- is simply amazing for its beefy flavor, and is not you rrun of the mill steak.
