Pork Pulled Sandwich

Pork Pulled sandwich or the pulled pork sandwich depending on how you typed it, is probably one of the top 3 bbq experiences you can have.

Like many recipes, the actual recipe is simple, but requires preparation to get there.

In fact, the actual recipe has only 4 ingredients: (and even better --3 steps!)

MEAT, from a smoked pork shoulder.

Coleslaw, click here for my favorite!

White bread, or a white bun. No wheat please.

Sauce. You can go with your favorite, my favorite (it'll cost you $3.99 for the recipe..) or a a North Carolina style sauce.

Your shoulder should look like this:

Do you see how easy it is to remove that bone? My four year old could pull that bone out!

Now for the method:

1. Once, the shoulder is done, shred the meat by hand and mix with a bit of sauce.

My secret? Add 2 parts bbq sauce to 1 part Franks Red Hot sauce. The meat should be moist not dripping.

2. Pile meat on the white bread of choice.

3. Top with slaw. Add the lid of your bread. Sauce to your liking.

It is that easy! Confused or need some help? Search this site for specific recipes.
