Set up own Web page!

This site all started by my googling set up own web page.

And then “make money with a blog.”

Wait, back up. This actually started a bit earlier, when I closed my restaurant in a very small town, and having a somewhat limited skill set for a small town, I started thinking about the internet.

I already wrote a bit, and am so passionate about food that I couldn’t imagine not being involved in it somehow. So, I looked into blogging and thought does anybody really make $ doing this?

Through a "personal help site" I saw the SBI link, followed it and watched a video.

Actually, this video:
Was I sold?

Nope. I was skeptical.

But a few things hooked me. First, SBI was not a get-rich-quick scheme. Rather, their motto is get rich slowly. Hmmm.

Second, SBI readily tells you that they supply you the tools, but you do the heavy lifting- the research, supply the knowledge base, do the writing. Hmmm.

Third, having had sites built for me, I knew what websites cost and SBI’s fees were very reasonable. (In fact, I now think they are a joke. So reasonable for hosting and the available tools, plus access to all of the forums.)

Then I watched this video:

But finally I figured I’d spend the $300 and give it a go. At the least, I’d cancel it, or be out $300.

Money well spent. SBI has delivered on every single promise they offer. Is my site in the top 1%? No. Not yet. Can I retire on what I make? No.

Does my site make $ ? Yes.

And at this writing it appears to be only limited by the amount of work that I want to do. Are there people out there making quite a bit? Depends on your definition, but yes. Some own 3 and 4 websites all generating $.

For me, I’d like to do a few more, one designated for vacation fund, one for home repair fund etc. That’s my basic story. Should you buy SBI and try to make money at home or in your spare time? That’s up to you.

I heartily recommend you watch the SBI videos. They do a much better job than I can as to explaining it all. And if you care to, go to my "contact us" page and ask me a question about SBI. I can’t guarantee a super timely response, but I will get back to you honestly.

In the end though, if you know about a certain subject, or want to learn more, are willing to put in the time, have reasonable writing skills and beginner computer skills, you can do this! Return from set up own web page to the home page
